Taybridge Consulting Press Release:
With the growth of e-Commerce websites and on-line sales channels, multi levelled customer service is paramount. In order to increase shopping cart conversion rates clients need to feel secure and safe on-line. One of the best ways to do this is to entice them to call you to remove any doubt. People like to purchase from people they believe in and trust and one way to demonstrate this is to offer a free phone customer service number.
Taybridge Consulting can now provide clients with 0800, 0845, 0844, 0300, 0333 and other national numbers. These number provide a free or low-cost way of clients calling you. The new number is mapped to you existing phone lines. Full call reporting is available to show durations, call numbers and other tracking information.
How 0800 and 0808 Numbers Work
Freephone numbers, typically 0800 numbers and 0808 numbers are grouped together under ‘080’, a ‘virtual’ type of number that sits on an existing landline or mobile. 080 freephone numbers are free to call from a landline and are soon likely to be free from a mobile too. This is because Ofcom (the Office of Fair Communication) is proposing to bring the UK in line with the rest of Europe and the USA.
When a customer dials your virtual 080 freephone number, the call is instantly routed to your existing landline or mobile number (referred to as your ‘target’). Conveniently, you can change this target number at any time online using Taybridges’ on-line portal.
You can also choose to use an 0800 number or 0808 number as a Fax to Email line, where faxes are received via your email. This is a great alternative to having a fax machine, which is traditionally expensive what with the on-going maintenance and material costs. What’s more, you don’t need a physical landline if you choose Fax to Email, again saving you an additional phone line charge.
